We call him 'Smokey' and he is in our opinion the finest Rocky
Mountain Stallion available in the north west! As you can see,
he is an accomplished show horse, but how practical is he? We
have had him in Montana for over a year, and he is more gentle
and beautiful than we could have hoped. We have ridden him with
only a halter and lead rope, bareback... he moves smoothly and
gently, and has a very natural gait. When working in the round
pen, he only goes in his gait!
He has even been hunting for elk in the Swan Valley of the Rocky
Mountains. He has the gentle disposition everyone is looking for
in a good Rocky Mountain horse, as well as the smooth gait and
conformation. Please contact
us if you would like to view him or breed
your mare in 2008.

Comments from our trainer, Cheryl Burt at Equivisions
Farm:
"Smokey is
one of the most quiet, pleasant well-mannered stallions I
have been in the company of. He is the most consistent, natually
smooth gaited horses I have had the opportunity to ride. He
easily navigates turns and circles while maitaining his smooth
gaits on a very casul loose rein and direction changes with
fingertip control. He has a pleasant manner and is a pleasure
to be around on the ground and under saddle even while being
in the company of other mares and geldings."
VBF's I Be Smokin' is standing at stud at Rockies in the Rockies,
by private treaty. Owned by Darcie Kelly.
