Skeeter, pictured at left, is our'charity case'
horse. He worked with several clients within another
agency with great success, but was headed for
the auction, so we brought him here to live with
our Rocky Mountain Horses. He is retired, and
enjoys the fresh air. |

Ever wonder what horse breed is
best for trail riding?
Well, we may not have all the answers, but
we believe the rockey mountain horses we
have for sale online are the best type of
horse for trail riding. We have used these
horses for trail riding, packing and camping
horseback trips in the rocky mountains of
Montana. We have the best selection of rockey
mountain horses for sale in the north west.
We also offer Kentucky Mountain gaited horses
as well.
You can view

the horses for sale. We work with our horses
early to ready them for the trails,and hunting.
Our horses are gun safe in most cases, and
eat their food near animals hides so they
are not fearful of your elk quarters when
it is time to pack out the meat.

How many calores does horseback riding burn?
Horseback riding is an excellent form of excercise, and you
can burn around 200 calories per hour of horseback riding
if you are around 120 pounds, and you can burn around 240
calories per hour if you weigh around 150 pounds. If you hike,
you burn about 10-20 calories more per hour.So, buy a few
gaited family horses and take everyone out to burn those calories!
